Heruitgave van het album Stranded van Roxy Music uit 1973. Het werd met deze plaat duidelijk dat Roxy Music een band was die hun tijd vooruit was. Het albums bevat o.a. de tracks ‘Street life’, ‘A Song For Europe’ en ‘Mother Of Pearl’ en klinkt op deze 180 grams Abbey Road Half-Speed Master uitgave als nooit te voren. Naast de audio is ook het artwork herzien voor deze editie waarmee het nog beter tot zijn recht komt.
Stranded gave Roxy Music their first UK No’1 album and brought with it an undeniable presence that would eventually see Roxy Music’s American audience take note! It was becoming all too clear that Roxy Music were indeed a band ahead of their time. Each Roxy Music album has been Re-Issued with a fresh Half-Speed cut by Miles Showell at Abbey Road Studios. London. To reflect the audio, all eight of the Roxy Music studio albums have had their artwork revised and with a gloss laminated finish so that each album is not just a record it’s a piece of art.
