Niklas Liepe also invited renowned contemporary composers, Moritz Eggert, Sidney Corbett, Wolf
Kerschek, Rolf Rudin, Dominik J. Dieterle, Konstanzia Gourzi, Tobias Rokahr, Friedrich Heinrich
Kern, Stephan Koncz and Daniel Sundy, to compose new variations inspired by the original variations.
Some examples for these new compositions are "Dialogue with Bach", "Goldberg Hallucination
Remix", "Goldberg's Last Summer" and "GoldBerghain".
The new Goldberg Variations are recorded by Niklas Liepe, the NDR Radiophilharmonie and guest
musicians under the direction of Jamie Phillips.
