Nadat de optredens die volgden op de successen van de nogal baanbrekende instrumentals Rumble en Jack The Ripper afliepen nam The Link flink gas terug op de boerderij van zijn broer Vernon in Accokeek, Maryland. Vijf rustieke, akoestische(!) elpees boordevol organische country, blues en gospel voor Polydor (in 1995 fragmentarisch uitgebracht als Guitar Preacher in hun serie Chronicles) vielen onbegrip ten deel ondanks die heden, zo'n veertig(!) jaar later, nóg invoelbare zeggingskracht. Gelukkig her te waarderen dankzij het loffelijke Ace, die drie volledige elpees heeft afgestoft en toegelicht.
