LOKI PROJECT

'Loki' is the alter ego of the experimental Dutch based artist Lieke Dijkstra. Her name sends a little wink to the shapeshifter from the Norse Mythology; for she believes that a human can change into many things over time; a stone, a flower, a king, a prostitute, several wild animals, including a seal.

In Game of Life she delivers her introspective lyrics about an ongoing search for identity and loss of identity. Combining her raw expressive voice with disarming soulfulness. The poignant and grey atmosphere of this tracks with layered vocals leaves you captivated.

Together with multi-instrumentalists/producer Gino Cochise you hear a fusion of multiple genres, hip-hop-, soul, pop and neo-jazz. This is the first track of her upcoming album.
