Recensie

This year National Album Day is centred around the theme of “Great British Bands.” Therefore, it’s no surprise that the iconic album ‘Just Enough Education to Perform’, by Great British band, Stereophonics, will be featured with a limited-edition green 1LP. Originally released April 11th, 2001, following the success of the bands previous chart-topping albums, this was the Stereophonics third studio album. The album shot to number #1 on the UK Album Charts and remained there for two weeks with a staggering 140,000 copies sold. The album then went on to re-enter the charts several times over the next three years. In 2001 it was the 4th biggest selling album in the UK as well as being the 39th biggest selling album of the decade. It went on to be certified 6× platinum in the UK. The bands continued international success is reflected in the album’s worldwide streams which exceed over 350 million and has sold over 400,000 copies globally. The album featured three top-ten singles “Mr Writer”, “Have a Nice Day”, and “Step On My Old Size Nines”. Stereophonics are a band that are timeless, still releasing music today, with their last album released in 2022, which became their 8th number-one album.
