‘Inslaan als een bom’ is een cliché, maar in het geval van het debuut van Queen, is dat een gezegde dat passend is. Het album haalde in zowel Amerika als in Groot Brittannië de gouden status en is sindsdien een favoriet van de fans. De band is sindsdien niet meer weg te denken uit ons collectieve geheugen. Op deze versie, naast de remaster en, voor de gelegenheid de ‘1’ op de hoes, (die stond er oorspronkelijk niet op), staat ook het nummer ‘Mad The Swine’ op de plaat, op de plek die de band oorspronkelijk had bedacht (maar het nooit haalde).
