Newly mixed from multi-tracks • CD and AAA vinyl
Six months before their debut album Déjà Vu was relesed, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young played a concert at New York City’s legendary Fillmore East venue. Including both acoustic and electric sets, this is about to be officially released by Rhino as Live at Fillmore East, 1969.
The setlist includes tracks from CSN’s self-titled debut (issued in May of ’69) and Young’s Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere (both released in May ’69) as well as early versions of Déjà Vu tracks (‘Our House’, ‘4+20’)
Stills and Young compiled and mixed the original eight-track concert recordings with John Hanlon at Sunset Sound Studios in Los Angeles. This is available on CD and as a 2LP vinyl set (black and clear vinyl versions). The vinyl is an AAA (all analogue) lacquer cut so it should sound great.
Live at Fillmore East, 1969 will be released on 25 October 2024, via Rhin
