"Watching Movies with the Sound Off" was Mac Miller's second studio album, marking a monumental shift in his sound and creative direction from his Blue Side Park days. "The Star Room (OG Version)" was unofficially released via Mac's social media/SoundCloud about ten years ago, but now makes an official appearance on the album. The track is based on the 2012 Wes Anderson film Moonrise Kingdom, which is known as one of Mac's favorite movies.
