Just had to do it, this timeless classic "Sugar man" by Sixto Rodriguez. An immense tune. OG released on the funk and soul label; Sussex records. With a top line up of musicains - Bob Babbitt on bass and Dennis coffey on Guitar; Gordon Staples did the stunning Strings arrangment and Mike Theodore producer...
This was previously issued as a 7" in the 70s, but sell for well over £100.00.
We have used the OG White colour sleeve design instead of the South African issue with a black sleeve, in keeping with format styles.
On the flip we have take another track from the LP "Only good for conversation" Heavy groove with nice bass drum loop, it has a Eugene McDaniels vibes
