Re-issue label Pseudonym komt met 'The Life We Live' de definitieve, ultieme Q65-bloemlezing, waarin hun volledige opgenomen werk uit de periode van 1966 tot 2000 op 11 cd's, allemaal afkomstig van de originele mastertapes zijn opgenomen. In de jaren zestig werden al hun platen in mono uitgebracht, maar al deze tracks komen nu naast de mono-versies ook in stereo-versies in deze box. Samen met alle albums en singles van de groep, en het soloalbum 'Rainman' van Frank Nuijens uit 1971 ( voor het eerst op cd), bevat de collectie een schat aan niet eerder uitgebrachte outtakes, alternatieve mono- en stereomixen en zeldzame live-opnames. Bijzonder zijn ook het album ' Trinity' (1997) waarop drie bandleden akoestische versies spelen van oud materiaal. Daarnaast het wel bijzondere laatste live concert van 3 juni 2000 opgenomen in de 'Boerderij' in Zoetermeer.
Het geheel bevat ook een rijkelijk geïllustreerd hardcover koffietafelboek van 216 pagina's met gedetailleerde liner notes van Mike Stax, samen met honderden kleuren- en zwart-witfoto's en reproducties van fotohoezen, posters, advertenties, tijdschrift- en krantenartikelen en ander zeldzaam Kjoe materiaal, waarvan een deel afkomstig is uit de persoonlijke archieven van de bandleden.
