Following the album of orchestral re-workings of their greatest hits that was 2023’s Be Opened By The Wonderful, Mancunian indie rock survivors James return quickly to present their seventeenth album of original material. Yummy, featuring the lead single ‘Is This Love’, finds the band in predictably unpredictable form, their idiosyncratic compounds of rock, soul, psychedelia and pop emerging from elongated jams.
