Tussen 1980 en 1984 bracht Crass Records een reeks van drie compilatie lp’s uit: ‘Bullshit Detector’ was de naam. Zonder al teveel bullshit filtering zetten ze bijdragen op plaat van wie maar wat opstuurde (demo tapes, rough recordings and artwork that had been sent to the band) en wat in het anarcho straatje pastte. Met 38 tracks van Omega Tribe, The Rejected, Molitov Cocktail, Capital Punishment, Anthrax, Chumbawamba en nog veel meer.
