Toegegeven, in Amsterdam konden we er ook wat van, maar het epicentrum van de psychedelica lag toch echt in San Francisco. Zeker muzikaal gezien, getuige deze bloemlezing uit de Golden state studio, gespecialiseerd in lokaal talent, wat het toentertijd (1966-1971) niet gemaakt heeft, maar terugkijkend toch echt wel helemaal te gek groovy was. En van titels als Fuck For Peace van het compleet uit de bocht vliegende Magician kunnen we zelfs nu nog wat leren.
