De ontsluiting door Ace van de Fame archieven zorgt voor een hoop onverwacht moois. Zo bleek James Govan, behalve twee singles, nog flink wat onuitgebracht werk te hebben. De man werd binnengehaald om het gat te dichtten dat de dood van Otis Redding in de Memphis soulscène had geslagen, en weet een prachtige brug te slaan tussen de southern soul van Fame-huisschrijver George Jackson, Dan Penn en de rock koningen van zijn tijd, getuige de covers van The Beatles en Bob Dylan.VIDEO
