Muziekliefhebber Abe Epstein uit San Antonio (Texas) had een bijzondere hobby: van de vroege jaren ’60 tot de vroege jaren ’70 startte hij talloze platenlabels. Daarvan was met name het Dynamic label de moeite waard om er een apart compilatiealbum aan te wijden. Tussen 1965 en 1968 produceerde Dynamic een reeks R&B van zowel zwarte als blanke Texaanse artiesten, waar de nodige pareltjes tussen blijken te zitten. Hoogtepunt is No Time For You, een hit voor The Commands in 1966.
