Sinds 1983 maakt Justin Broadrick (Godflesh, Jesu etc.) soloalbums als Final. ‘I Am The Dirt…’ bestaat uit negen genummerde tracks zonder specifieke titel. Met enig geweld duwt Broadrick de luisteraar richting een murky world of suffocating textures, crepuscular guitars, serrated noise and what appear to be random bursts of sawmill grind which together create the perfect backdrop to today’s newscape.
